Sandies. - ON L1M 1A3

Just tried Sandies, new burger place in Brooklin. Overall I have to say they make an impressive smash burger. Ordered a triple with custom toppings, looked amazing. Taste wise, it was good, not great, seemed to be lacking in flavor, not sure why. When I was ordering my burger, I asked for ketchup and mustard, they didn't really offer that because their Sandie sauce contains both, but that's not the same. I like a lot of those condiments, especially mustard, so it takes away from the experience. They give you a lot of fries, which is great! My wife ordered the mix fries, which is a mix of regular and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were great, but they only give you a small amount compared to regular fries. The regular fries were a bit too salty, need to tone that down. Saying all that, I think Sandies is worth trying out. They have a great product, they just need to make some adjustments. They also have dining area with lots of booths, their own free parking, TVs on the wall and friendly service.

First time I've ordered from here (for delivery) and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food is! Burger was very tasty fries were good onion rings were crispy, we'll definitely be ordering from here again!

Had a wonderful experience at Sandies in Brooklin. Loved the retro-ish vibes it was giving off with the design, music, and games. Food was spot on, juicy smash burgers and flavorful sandwiches. We really enjoyed the Steak and Frites sandwich, the chimichurri has a nice lemony taste to it that balanced out the steak. We also really loved the Mushroom Melt burger, packed with lots of flavour with good toppings and sauce. This is the spot that the community of Brooklin definitely needed so make sure to check them out!

We have visited this place a few times now and each visit has been exceptional. We have tried their Brooklin Classic as well as their Spicy Habanero smash burgers and they never disappoint. The Spicy Habanero definitely has a bit of a kick to it but not overwhelmingly so. The price point is pretty good all things considering. The burgers come with regular fries but no drink. Their fries are seasoned well and like their sweet potato fries are always fresh and crispy. We only get takeout and because the food is made to order, it's all still hot and fresh by the time we get home. They have plenty of seating and a couch where you can play Jenga, Connect 4, or read Archie Comics. There's also one arcade game. Plenty of parking beside and in front of the building. We know a lot of people have already discovered this place as it becomes progressively busier each time we go, we highly recommend it. It's definitely a gem worth checking out!

This bright airy restaurant serves up hot sandwiches with Kettle chips or classic sides . Durham region is lacking a smash burger joint and this is the answer we needed. I had the Double Spicy Habanero Burger Chicken Parm Burgers come in single double or triple patties. (Approx 3 oz patties) I chose the double Patty. The habanero sauce was delicious . I love that they use ghee instead of added oils and harmful ingredients. The chicken Parm is out of this world . The basil was so fresh. The chicken Patty enormous and the sandwich was loaded with cheese Price wise everything is affordable and portions are great!

Came here for early dinner on a weekday. Surprisingly busy. Ordering was fast, but it took about 25 minutes before our order was served. Nice dining area with a couch, booths, and regular table/chair options. We ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and the special of the day, which was a double patty smash burger, fries, and a drink for $12.50! Great price. The food was great, too. Fries were freshly made, hot, and crunchy. There is a free parking lot beside the restaurant, and free street parking is also available.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sandies. in Brooklin. They took over the space previously occupied by El Jefe. Their new menu features sandwiches and smash burgers, done right! Their smash burgers are so tender and moist! I had their Spicy Habanero and my friend had The Brooklin Classic. Both burgers were excellent but I have to give it to The Brooklin Classic for presentation. It looked great and they were both delicious! The Steak & Frites sandwich was so good, with tender beef, and each ingredient complementing each other. This could easily become my favourite! Their Shoestring Fries were thin and crispy but their Sweet Potato Fries took the flavour up another notch. Delicious! I love salads and their Classic Caesar Salad with Chicken (add-on) was very good - fresh lettuce, crunchy croutons, and nice dressing. I was truly impressed with this meal and will definitely be back. Other offerings include chicken sandwiches, a spicy mackerel melt, a vegetarian mushroom sandwich, and a beet & goat cheese salad.
